"Snub" Squadron
The Snub Squadron is one of the Winged Foxes oldest Units, being established by Akamai Keiki soon after his move to the Winged Foxes and into the position of 'Head of Flight'.
Mainly comprising of Bi-Planes, the Snub Squadron originally was founded as a carrier training squadron, taking the lead role in preparing pilots for service with the Winged Foxes. But as time changes, the Squadron's role has adapted to the changing requirements from the WFAP.
Currently, the Snub Squadron still upholds its traditions, by being the training squadron within the WFAP. But with the surprising effectiveness of the Gloster Gladiators in aerial combat, the Snubs also hold the position as the Winged Fox Carrier's (the 'Raven') lead fighter squadron.

With the recent addition of the Hellcats to the Squadron, the Steel Wing Squadron still remains one of the most potent, deadly forces to patrol the skies over the oceans.
The Steel Wing Squadron specializes in Naval Aerial Warfare, covering a wide variety of aircraft and remains the Raven's main attack force.

Although known for their non-combat roles, the aicraft can be modified for the allowance of munitions in times of war and necessety. The Squadron's FW 200 Condor has also been known in the use of paratroop and supply dropping missions, as well as the Catalina's role in Anti-Ship and Commando missions.
The FW 200 Condor is the only aircraft in the Naval Squadron that has to launch from land based airfields, as the Spitfire and Catalina can land/be stored aboard the Raven.
