Within the site, you encourage the posting of useful and positive posts, that benefit our community. It is for this reason we've created the 'Reputation' System, which rewards points to good posts, while giving the users the option to subtract points for negative or poor posts.

To do so, on the top right of every post you will see a + and - sign like this:



By clicking the + symbol, it rewards +1 Reputation Point to that user, while clicking the - symbol subtracts -1 Reputation Point from that user.

When a post is thanked the post itself will change colors to reflect the relevant level of reputation towards that post and the user.

On top of this, there is also now the added feature of the 'Thanks' button, as demonstrated below:



Click this button adds an extra +3 reputation to the posting user, on top of the added reputation from the +/- system.

To prevent future abuse of the thanks system, I will be closely monitoring it for the time being to make sure people are doing it with respect, and not out of bias.
